Service Area: 

Our Dog Walking services cover the following towns: Lynbrook, Malverne, Valley Stream, East Rockaway, Rockville Centre, and Hewlett. Additionally, we may consider select areas in nearby towns such as Franklin Square, West Hempstead, and Woodmere on a case-by-case basis, though service to those areas cannot be guaranteed.  

What to Expect from Our Walks: 

Our goal is to keep your dog both active and balanced. Walks include light structure and mental stimulation, helping your dog release energy while staying in a steady routine. Though these aren't training sessions, we use consistent leash skills to support long-term behavior. Walks take place around your neighborhood with no car travel or group walks. Whether your dog thrives on movement or prefers to take things slow, we adjust to fit their day. 

Dog Walking Rates: 

30 Minutes - $28 for the first dog 

- $10 for each additional dog (up to 3 dogs per visit) 

45 Minutes - $38 for the first dog 

- $12 for each additional dog (up to 3 dogs per visit) 

1 Hour  - $48 for the first dog 

- $15 for each additional dog (up to 3 dogs per visit)

-Prices listed do not include New York State sales tax.

Aversive Tools Policy:

At UpDog, we work exclusively with dogs trained using positive reinforcement methods. Because of this, we don’t provide dog walking or drop-in services for dogs who rely on tools such as prong collars, choke chains (including martingales), slip leads, Gentle Leaders, e-collars (even those that use only sound or vibration), electronic “no-bark” collars, or citronella spray collars.

These tools rely on discomfort, startle, or fear to control behavior, which research shows can increase stress, anxiety, and reactivity over time. Our focus is on helping dogs learn through trust, communication, and reward-based motivation — never fear or pain.
