What is your pricing for dog training?

We only provide dog training quotes after conducting an evaluation and meeting the dog and owner. This approach safeguards all parties involved and helps prevent any unexpected issues that might result in additional training charges later on.

Is there a fee for a training evaluation?

Our standard training evaluation fee is $75. Please note that the evaluation fee is nonrefundable after the consultation has been completed.

What areas do you serve?

Our Dog Walking and Pet Drop-in services cover the following towns: Lynbrook, Malverne, Valley Stream, East Rockaway, Rockville Centre and Hewlett. Additionally, we may consider select areas in nearby towns such as Franklin Square, West Hempstead, and Woodmere on a case-by-case basis, though service to those areas is not guaranteed.

For Dog Training Services, we operate throughout Nassau County. We may also consider select areas in Queens and Suffolk County on a case-by-case basis, with service not guaranteed. Depending on your dog's needs, virtual sessions may also be available.

Can my kids be involved in the training?

Certainly! We strongly encourage involvement from all family members in the dog training process, as it's essential for the dog to learn to listen to everyone. Eric, our certified dog trainer, has extensive experience training alongside children, as well as working with elderly individuals and family members with special needs. We advise parents to use their discretion when involving young children or those with special needs and to have an alternative plan in place should they find it challenging to actively participate in the training sessions.

Do you provide services on holidays?

Yes, we do offer walks and drop-ins on select holidays, subject to availability, for an additional fee. There's an extra $5 holiday fee for 30-minute dog walks or drop-ins and cat drop-in visits. For 45-minute dog walks, the fee extends to $7, and for 1-hour dog walks, it's $10. Please note that availability on holidays is not guaranteed and tends to be very limited. If you're planning to book for a holiday, please contact us promptly to secure your spot.

What is your cancellation policy for dog walking or training sessions?

For dog walking cancellations, kindly notify us by 3PM EST the day before your scheduled appointment to receive a full refund, including any deposit paid. Cancellations made after 3 PM EST the preceding day will result in a 50% refund. Last-minute cancellations, within 1 hour before the appointment time, must be paid in full.

For training sessions, we require a 24-hour notice for cancellations. Training sessions canceled with less than 24 hours' notice will be charged and counted against your total number of training lessons. Exceptions to this policy may be made only at the discretion of the company. If you choose to cancel your training package before completing all sessions, you are eligible for a 100% refund of the UNUSED portion within 30 days of your most recent session. Refunds will not be issued after the 30-day period.

Are your dog walkers also trainers?

While our dog walkers are not mandated to hold certifications as dog trainers, they possess extensive experience with dogs gained through years of volunteer or professional work, coupled with personal dog ownership history. We take pride in our carefully curated team and are confident that you will be pleased with their expertise and dedication to providing exceptional service!

Will my dog walker check in with me via text or call?

Yes! After completing your dog's walk or drop-in visit, your assigned walker will promptly send you a text message containing a photo and a detailed summary. This summary will cover essential details such as whether your dog relieved themselves, their overall mood and energy level, as well as any noteworthy occurrences during the visit.
